This blog is all about how to use your art and design skills to sell your work online and generate passive income.

Like many people, I lost my job when the recession hit and have found that employers are now looking for everything and the kitchen sink when they look for new recruits, and for 25% less salary than your last job.

If you’re Freelance, you’ve probably lost count of the times you’ve had to explain why you aren’t interested in working free, just for the exposure. Or why your logo design fee is 10x higher than the $30 minimum on Freelancer.com.

I understand, Times Are Hard ™ but we still need to earn a living. There are only so many hours in our day though, and there’s a limit to how much we can charge for our time, so how do we make more money?

There is a third way. Passive Income.

Whatever medium you work in, if you can create a digital file of your project you can use it to make extra money.

There’s a whole host of print-on-demand and stock gallery websites where you can sell your work digitally without you needing to buy, make or ship a single thing. And all of this is at your disposal for you to create your own passive income stream.

You don’t have to work full time at this to make money. You don’t need to have a huge body of work. You CAN make a little extra each week by selling your work online.

And a little extra cash brings a little extra freedom. Freedom to make choices. So you can choose to let some clients walk on by. So you can choose to take a lower salary for a better opportunity.

I’m still learning about this, and I intend to continue learning. I’ll be sharing everything I find through this blog. I’d be stoked if you have any success stories you’d like to share too.
